Antibes Art Deco Holiday Apartment

Avenue Robert Soleau is one of the main Boulevards of the center of Antibes, and features many fine examples of Art Deco architecture. The avenue leads directly down to Place De Gaulle with its wonderful water fountains, Plane trees and cafés for al fresco dining!

Palais Soleau was named after Robert Soleau, who was the Mayor of Antibes during the early 1930's and is ideally situated along one of the main tree lined streets, inbetween the main square (Place de Gaulle) and train station, 5 minutes walk!

Palais Soleau was constructed in 1932 and it retains the original glass covered wrought iron entrance doors leading into a two-tone white and brown marble entrance hall. The original wire door elevator is encased by a wide spiral staircase, the apartment is on the 2nd floor at the back of the building, overlooking a central courtyard. The majority of the residents live in the building year round and are incredibly proud of the historic interest of their collective home!
