As you enter the apartment you will notice how open and airy it fells, wonderfully warm in winter and cool in summer. The ceilings are coved and 11 foot high. The hallway retains its original 4 inch square tiles laid in a checkerboard style, white alternating with dove grey. The walls have been restored to their original smooth plaster finish (several layers of wallpaper were removed) and painted in the classic deco cream colour, together with the satin woodwork painted to match. The lighting is via wall lights which throw light upwards and outwards giving a warm golden glow of light.

To the immediate right handside of the front door is the toilet, which has a petit hand basin and the latest in wall mounted toilets designed by Allia of Paris. The Deco lighting theme is continued with a ceiling mounted glass dome centrally mounted.

Just inside you will find the luxurious German made, double size glass walk in shower, spectacularly lit with surface mounted strip neon lights, the water temperature control is set at 38c, which is the recommended temperature, but may be overriden.

The wash hand basin looks as if it is straight out of a Deco film set from a 1930's Hollywood movie, enjoy the generous bowl and illuminated mirror above. The tap is the latest basin mixer from Hansghroe from Germany.

The bath sits neatly below the newly restored window which has been reglazed with sandblasted glass.
